January 2, 2016 Update

Well, the games themselves haven’t been close, but at least the bowl pool standings are! After the New Years Day games, we have a 5-way tie for first place with 21 points between Barry Brandt, Scott Mason, Vam Majmudar, Will Wu, and Xiaorong Lai. Playoffs?!? December 31, 2015 Update

Finally a day with some surprises. Yesterdays leaders Brandon and Randy had a rough day, each getting 3 out of 4 incorrect. Vam Majmudar took advantage of the opening and rose to the top of the leaderboard with 12 of 15 correct. Amanda Heffner was the only entry to get all 4 picks correct yesterday. January 13, 2015 – Final Results!

Congratulations to Kate Snare for winning this year’s college bowl pool! Kate had an amazing finish, as she was the only entry to get 5 of “New Year’s Six” games correct, and she was also one of three entries to pick Ohio State as the National Champs. Kate prevailed in a 5-way tie for first with 22 points by having the closest tiebreaker score. Interestingly, the other two entries that went out on a limb and picked the #4 seed Buckeyes also finished in the top 3 of the tiebreaker. Sabine Snare claimed second place and Dan Passman claimed third place. Jeff Parker will have his entry fee returned for finishing in last place.
